Maison Selby

Housed in the C.H. Gooderham House, built in 1883, Maison Selby is a French bistro located in one of St. James Town's historic landmarks. The brand identity draws from both the building's heritage and the restaurant's contemporary approach to classic French dining.

Inspired by 18th-century French typography and ornamentation, the identity incorporates a bespoke illustration of the house alongside graphic elements derived from its architectural and interior details, creating a visual system rooted in the character of the historic property.

A custom collection of spirits was developed in collaboration with Dillon's for use in Maison Selby's cocktail program. Inspired by the intricate wallpapers found throughout the historic house, the hand-drawn illustrations capture the distinct botanicals and flavour profiles of each gin and vodka, extending the brand identity across the packaging.
